1B Lettice Street, Parson’s Green, London, SW6 4EH 2011 tasting practice sessions for 1st and 2nd year MW studentsTastings will follow the Master of Wine exam format – 12 wines in 2¼ hours – with both wines and questions in line with recent exams. There will be group feedback afterwards and the sessions will last around 3½ hours. I will provide the wines and question sheets. You need to bring 12 glasses, a spittoon and paper to write on. This year there are only 15 tastings, so please book early to make sure of your place. I have extended the cancellation time to 14 days, thus allowing me to offer cancelled places to other students. In the event of having to cancel with less than 14 days notice, a refund will be given if your place is sold. Places are limited to a maximum of 12 students per tasting so please book early.

Please arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before the start of the tasting. Refunds can only be given – except in exceptional circumstances – by giving me 14 days notice of cancellation. I reserve the right to cancel a tasting at my discretion, but subject to giving students who have booked places 14 days notice. Parson’s Green tube station is 5 minutes walk from my flat and is on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line. Change at Earl’s Court if you are on the Ealing or Richmond branches of the District Line. There are plenty of buses along the Fulham Road or the New Kings Road. Get off near the Munster Road. There is street parking in this area. You have to pay on Saturday (up to 5 pm) but it is free on Sundays.
